For a taste of down home cooking, stop by the Trail’s End Restaurant. Buffet-style selections are available for breakfast and dinner, while you can pick and choose from a la carte items during lunchtime. The breakfast buffet includes plenty of home-style fare like eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, oatmeal, grits, biscuits and gravy and more. For the dinner buffet, you’ll have a choice of chili, soup, a salad and sandwich bar, pasta, ribs, chicken, pizza, fish and dessert. Finally, the lunch menu offers a variety of a la cart choices ranging from fried chicken or pan-fried catfish to chili and grilled shrimp. Vegetarian selections and a special kids menu are available, as well.
If you’re in the mood to be entertained while you dine, check out the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue, a combination dinner and old-fashioned dinner show set in a rustic dance hall. Enjoy all-you-care-to-eat favorites like BBQ ribs, fried chicken, baked beans, corn bread and more. Unlimited beverages are available as well, including alcoholic drinks for guests 21 and up. Sit back, feast and enjoy the zany combination of vaudeville, Wild West dancing and singing at this popular family favorite.
Another family-oriented dinner show takes place at Mickey’s Backyard Barbeque. Here, you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring Mickey and pals at the covered, open-air pavilion at the campground. Hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, chicken, corn on the cob, watermelon and more are available, and you can listen to country-western music, line dance, and more. Children can even dance with their favorite Disney characters on the dance floor.
If you’re looking for something more low-key, stop by the Meadow Snack Par located at the Meadow Pool Complex. This pool snack bar features a variety of light fare and beverages, including pizza, salad, sandwiches, apple slices, chips and dessert. Beverages offered include beer, juice, smoothies, soft drinks, Powerade, and milk. This location is open seasonally, so make sure to plan your visit accordingly if you want to stop by the Meadow Snack Bar.
