For a taste of the Caribbean Islands, visit Shutters at Old Port Royale. For dinner, choose from a variety of Caribbean-inspired cuisine such as smoked prime ribs, plantain-crusted red snapper or chicken marinated in pineapple. They also offer a selection of seasonal desserts, as well as more traditional offerings such as the key lime tarte.
In addition to the food, Shutters offers tropical drinks that perfectly complement the food. Adults guests can try the Lava Colada made with raspberry rum as well as a variety of other specialty cocktails and wines. For non-alcoholic beverages, try the smoothies or shakes to wash down your meal.
If you’re in the mood for a more varied selection, the Old Port Royale Food Court will fit the bill. The food court includes 5 different quick-service areas where you can choose from a variety of favorites while listening to catchy Calypso music.
First up is the Grab ‘n Go Market, where you can choose from fresh baked pastries for breakfast, as well as fresh fruit and ice cream specialties later in the day. For Italian-inspired fare, the Royale Pizza & Pasta Shop offer breakfast selections, pizza and plenty of fresh sandwiches to choose from. If you’d like an American favorite, the food court also has the Old Port Royale Hamburger Shop, which offer Mickey waffles for breakfast and plenty of Angus burgers, fries and chicken sandwiches in the afternoon.
The last two stations in the Old Port Royale Food Court are Bridgetown Broiler and Montego’s Deli, which serve customized omelettes, roasted chicken, breakfast platters, philly cheese steaks and New York-style cheesecake, respectively.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort also has their own full-service pool bar called the Banana Cabana. Here, you can choose from a variety of alcoholic cocktails which come with their own souvenir cup, or a selection of wine and beer. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available, including the Sour Apple Freeze, Lava Smoothie, soft drinks and energy drinks.
