The WonderGround Gallery is set to expand at Downtown Disney’s Marketplace Co-Op.
When the Marketplace Co-Op opened there was a small fixture area near the front of the store where items from WonderGround Gallery were for sale. The new location for the Gallery will be in the former home of Beautifully Disney.
The Marketplace Co-Op was designed to showcase new and unique Disney merchandise, so the move is part of the plan for the store.
To celebrate the new location of the WonderGround Gallery the Marketplace Co-Op is hosting a grand opening event on March 6 and 7. Several Wonderground artists including Robert Jimenez, Jasmine Beckett Griffith, and Jerrod Maruyama will be on hand to meet fans.
The old WonderGround Gallery space will be filled by The Sign Shop which sells an assortment of Disney Parks-inspired signs. New merchandise including a Holllywood Tower Hotel sign by Disney Design Group artists Richard Terpstra and photography from Michael Lewis Glover will be available at The Sign Shop.
WonderGround Gallery hails from the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort.
