Actress Selena Gomez, who’s been featured on the Disney Channel’s highly popular “Wizards of Waverly Place” sitcom since 2007 proves to be Disney’s highest paid teen star. According to a recently published list by the New York Post, Gomez’s paycheck beats out fellow starlets Miley Cyrus & Demi Lovato.
For each episode of Wizards of Waverly Place Selena pockets $25,000, unlike Miley Cyrus who earns $15,000 per episode on Hannah Montana. Demi Lovato follows by grabbing $12,000 per episode on “Sonny With a Chance.”
Selena recently graduated from high school in both reality & also in a fictional graduation ceremony while filming an upcoming movie. Even though she wasn’t able to attend her ‘real’ graduation Selena posted on her Facebook page; “I graduated in the movie Monte Carlo, so in a weird way I have experienced a real graduation ceremony.” Gomez announced that she has no plans to attend college right away, working on projects linked to her highly lucrative career as an actress and recording artist. This summer she will be touring the United States performing in the Lilith Fair.
