The first day of May is tomorrow and the Walt Disney World Resort has announced the special merchandise events for the month.
Two popular artists are at Walt Disney World Resort at the beginning of the month – Greg McCullogh is at the Art of Disney in Epcot from now through May 3 and Larry Dotson is at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney from now until May 3.
Both artists will be returning later in the month too. Greg will be at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney from May 18-23 and again from May 27-31 from 1-9 p.m. each day. And Larry will be at the Art of Disney in Epcot from May 14-17.
If you’re still looking for a that perfect Mother’s Day gift stop by the Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney on May 1 and 2 to check out the new releases from PANDORA.
Representatives from Precious Moments will be at Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney from May 1-11 for the release of the Mother’s Day Collection. Doll designer Linda Rick will be on hand May 8-10.
Disney Fine Art artist Michelle St. Laurent will be at the Art of Disney in Epcot from 3-9 p.m. on May 8 and 9, and artist Liana Hee is scheduled to be at the WonderGround Gallery in the Marketplace Co-Op on the same days from 4-7 p.m. each day for an artist signing and showcase.
Artist David E. Doss will be showcasing his latest releases at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney from 1-9 p.m. May 8-16.
The 2015 Star Wars Weekends kicks off with the Galactic Gathering on May 14 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Disney’s Hollywood Studio. There are still tickets available for this event. And once Star Wars Weekends start guests can visit Darth’s Mall each weekend through June 14 where they’ll find commemorative merchandise and special artist appearances.
