Spring is most definitely in the air at the Walt Disney World Resort and to celebrate there’s a brand new month of special merchandise events planned.
Guests visiting the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival will find merchandise at the artisan showcase pergolas including Boiled Books, Growmanji, Elemental Nursery, EyeCatchers, Haf2Paitn, Reinhard Herzog, Noah’s Ark Topiaries, and Swaying in the Breeze.
The Art in the Gardens on April 1-3 features Disney Design Group artists, Disney Fine Art Collectors Editions, David E. Doss, Larry Dotson, Fairy House Ladies, Reinhard Herzog, Greg McCullough, and William Silvers.
Artist David E. Doss returns to Epcot on April 6-10 and again from April 26 through May 1. He’ll be at the Art of Disney from 1-9 p.m. each day. Larry Dotson will be back at Epcot from April 21-24 at the Art of Disney from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. each day.
Fragrance fans will want to stop by The Queen’s Table in the United Kingdom on April 8-10 and April 21-23 to meet reps from Yardley. Perfume designer Geir Ness will at the Puffin’s Roost in the Norway pavilion on April 18-21 from 12-6 p.m. each day.
Guests can celebrate Earth Day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom from April 20-24. Special merchandise will be available at Island Mercantile. Jortra Boutique’s handmade jewelry will be available at Mombasa Marketplace.
And on Earth Day (April 22) guests can meet Walt Disney Imagineer and Portfolio Creative Executive Joe Rohde who will be on hand to sign to his artwork. Joe will be at the Discovery Trading Company from 1-2 p.m.
Several artists will be making stops at the Art of Disney or the WonderGround Gallery in Disney Springs this month. ACME Archives artist Rob Kaz will be at the Art of Disney on April 15-17 showcasing his latest Star Wars art. Jasmine Becket-Griffith will be at the WonderGround Gallery on April 16.
There is a special “meet the artist” event on April 22 and 23 at the Art of Disney with Costa Alavezos, Tim McCloskey, Randy Noble, Don “Ducky” Williams, and Darren Wilson. This event is 6-8 p.m. on the 22nd and 4-6 p.m. on the 23rd.
And finally, Cherry Tree Lane at the Marketplace Co-Op is hosting a Pandora launch event on April 29 and 30.
