Walt Disney World has announced the tentative list of narrators for the 2013 Candlelight Processional.
The 2013 Candlelight Processional is scheduled for November 29 through December 3o this year, and is performed three times each night (5 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m.). The program includes the telling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator who is accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra, and a choir of Disney cast members and special guests.
This is the tentative list of celebrity narrators (subject to change):
- Gary Sinise – November 29 to December 1
- Neil Patrick Harris – December 2 to December 3
- Ashley Judd – December 4 to December 5
- Whoopi Goldberg – December 6 to December 7
- Sigourney Weaver – December 8 to December 10
- Dennis Haysbert – December 11 to December 13
- James Denton – December 14 to December 16
- Edward James Olmos – December 17 to December 19
- Trace Adkins – December 20 to December 22
- TBD – December 23 to December 25
- Blair Underwood – December 26 to December 28
- Amy Grant – December 29 to December 30
Guests can book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package giving them have guaranteed seating for lunch or dinner at select Epcot restaurants, in addition to guaranteed VIP viewing of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth after the show.
The dining package includes your choice of an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage or one full buffet from the restaurant’s menu. Guests can use the Disney Dining Plan to pay for the packages. With the Standard or Deluxe Dining Plan it will be two table service credits per person, and with the Premium and Platinum Dining Plan it will cost one table service credit.
The list of participating restaurants for 2013 has not been released, but our friends at the Disney Food Blog have listed locations that were included in past years. These include: Biergarten, Nine Dragons, Restaurant Marrakesh, Rose and Crown, Via Napoli, San Angel Inn, Coral Reef, Teppan Edo, Tokyo Dining, Tutto Italia, Chefs de France, Garden Grill (dinner only), Le Cellier (lunch only), and La Hacienda de San Angel (dinner only).
Prices have not yet been released but the prices for 2012 were:
Lunch Packages $32.99–$55.99 for Guests 10+, $12.50–$17.99 for Guests 3–9
Dinner Packages $49.99–$66.99 for Guests 10+, $14.50–$26.99 for Guests 3–9
