Sucker Punch, indeed! That might be how Disney fans are feeling when they see this new promo shot of their favorite High School Musical sweetheart all geared up for some serious inmate action!
Hudgens is one of several hip, teen-queen stars in Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch, a film set in the 1950s. The main premise has mental patients with names like Blondie (Hudgens), Baby Doll, Rocket, and Sweetpea escaping into a fantasy world. The main character’s lobotomy has caused her to create this alternative reality, and she and her fellow inmates start off on a quest to steal 5 objects. Of course, there is always a villain…
The film also stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino and Jon Hamm. Release date is set at march 25th, 2011.
