As part of the ongoing Limited Time Magic at Disney Parks this summer, Typhoon Lagoon is set to host a groovy dance party inspired by the Disney Channel Original Movie Teen Beach Movie. The dance party started June 24 and happens every day until September 1.
The dance party is scheduled to happen throughout each day this summer and includes a DJ spinning remixes of retro songs, beach-themed games, and some “bikers” and “surfers” to party with guests. The party – which will take place on part of the main beach and the wave pool area – will feature relays in the sand, hula hooping, and water balloon and beach ball tosses.
Teen Beach Movie stars Ross Lynch (Austin & Ally) and Maia Mitchell (ABC Family’s The Fosters) as Brady and McKenzie, surfers who mysteriously surf themselves into a classic beach party movie called Wet Side Story. As they try to return to the present day, Brady and McKenzie also inadvertently change the movie’s romantic storyline. Teen Beach Movie premieres July 19 on Disney Channel.
