Word is starting to spread that this summer, when Toy Story 3 hits theaters, one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World and Disneyland will get a bit of an update to celebrate. Blue Sky Disney is reporting that thanks to the design of the attraction, the entire ride can be updated and new games be installed within days or weeks as opposed to months when other attractions go down for refurbishment and updating. Disney’s Imagineers will be able to use the software that runs the games of the attraction and update them to a Toy Story 3 theme with entirely new games.
Thanks to this software, Disney can update and change the games for more seasonal events like Halloween and Christmas, and adjust games based on Guest Feedback, but for now, most everyone is looking forward to the Toy Story 3 updates this summer.
