Up to now, the plot for Tomorrowland, a Disney film that’s being developed by director Brad Bird of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol fame, has been kept tightly under wraps. But several sources are suggesting they have gotten their hands on a leaked synopsis for the story.
Set to feature megastar George Clooney in a lead role, here’s the synpopsis in a nutshell, according to Moviefone.com:
A teenage girl, a genius middle-aged man (who was kicked out of Tomorrowland), and a pre-pubescent girl robot attempt to get to and unravel what happened to Tomorrowland, which exists in an alternative dimension, in order to save Earth.
Further details of the alleged plot are available in the original HitFix report, which offer the backstory of just what Tomorrowland is, and what Clooney’s connection with it will be. There is also speculation that actor Hugh Laurie will also play a role in the film.
