We’re just a couple days away from the 24-hour party at Disneyland to officially kick of the Diamond Anniversary Celebration and it’s a good idea to head to the party with a plan.
Guests arriving at Disneyland for the 24-hour party can park in the Pumbba lot starting at 10 p.m. on May 21 for early arrivals. On May 22 parking will be available in the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure starting at 4 a.m. and the Toy Story Lot at 5 a.m.
If you’re planning on queuing up overnight, you can bring games, blankets, chairs, sleeping bags, and even tents but those items must be returned to your car or hotel room by 2 a.m. – and you need to be in line at 2 a.m.
Starting at 2 a.m. all guests in line will go through security checkpoints and moved to the Disneyland Resort Esplanade where they’ll receive a souvenir keepsake. Guests can temporarily leave the line to purchase food or beverages or to use the restroom.
At 4 a.m. all guests who are starting the day at Disneyland will be escorted to Main Street U.S.A. for the opening celebration which starts at 6 a.m. Guests starting the 24-hour day at Disney California Adventure will be escorted to Buena Vista Street at 5:30 a.m.
Adult guests are not permitted to wear costumes for this event.
Regular park admission will be used for the 24-hour party and Disneyland Resort ticket booths will open at 2 a.m. on May 21.
