Beginning in January three Disney Cruise Line ships will be sailing from Port Canaveral for the first part of 2014.
While the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy already call Port Canaveral home, they’ll be joined by the Disney Magic when she begins sailing 3- and 4-night cruises from Port Canaveral on January 2. The Dream sails 3- and 4-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Fantasy visits the Caribbean on 7-night cruises.
Port Canaveral is only an hour drive from the Walt Disney World Resort, and Disney is advertising a special land and sea offer for cruises at the start of the year. To make travel easier on guests, the land and sea packages include transportation between the port and the resort and luggage delivery from the resort to onboard staterooms.
Each of the Disney Cruise Line itineraries from Port Canaveral includes a stop at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas.
