It’s been another eventful week in the World of Disney news! Race schedules were announced, ambassadors were named, and a new character meet-and-greet is headed to the Disney Parks.

If you’re planning on attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party this year, you can now add on a one-day Memory Maker just for the party pictures! This special event Memory Maker is $39 and will include all the photos from MNSSHP and other pictures from your Disney day.
runDisney announced its 2015-2016 race schedule and while it includes many familiar races, one is missing – there is no Twilight Zone Tower of Terror mentioned in the schedule. The speculation is the race isn’t on the schedule due to construction that will be on-going at Disney’s Hollywood Studios next year.

Next month Disney’s newest animated film Big Hero 6 hits theaters and soon after the stars of the film – Hiro and Baymax – will be meeting guests at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland. The meet-and-greet at Walt Disney World will be located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios while Disneyland’s will be in Tomorrowland.
For the last 50 years Disney ambassadors have been sharing Disney magic with guests and dignitaries at the Disney Parks. The tradition continued this week with the announcement of new ambassadors for Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris.

Our friends at the Disney Food Blog are continuing to share news from this year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival! They have a great review up of the Festival Center complete with some great photos of merchandise!
More dining news from Disney this week – the menu was released for the all-new Trattoria al Forno located at Disney’s BoardWalk. The new Italian eatery replaces Kouzzina by Cat Cora which closed on September 30.
The Epcot Food and Wine Festival runs until November 10.
