We start this week’s news recap with some breaking overnight news from the Magic Kingdom.
Last night there was a small fire at the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Fantasyland. According to published reports the fire presumably started after remnants from the nighttime fireworks display landed atop the ride. The Reedy Creek Fire Department was dispatched and quickly put out the flames. The ride reopened later in the evening. No one was injured.
Moving on to the other big news for the week – we found out two of the new dining establishments that are headed to Disney Springs! Disney announced that Morimoto Asia and The BOATHOUSE will be opening next year at The Landing, the heart of the new Disney Springs.
In other Disney food news, our friends at the Disney Food Blog recently had the chance to sample the new breakfast menu for Trattoria al Forno! The menu is being served at the Flying Fish Cafe.
The Disney Cruise Line announced the 2016 itineraries that include two new ports of call – Tortola, British Virgin Islands and Martinique.
Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World are hosting a great lineup of special merchandise events throughout the month of November!
And in movie news, Marvel Studios announced ‘Phase 3’ of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with movie titles announced through 2019!
