It was a week of big news in the world of Disney so let’s jump right in!
As the transformation of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs continues it was announced that Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is opening on September 22!
The menu at Jock Lindsey’s will include tapas-style dishes and unique beverages. There will be a definite aviation theme to the restaurant, including the dishes used for serving food.
In other food-related news we learned that Pop Secret has been named the official popcorn for the Disney Parks.
Disney and Diamond Foods, Inc., recently announced that they’ve entered into a “strategic alliance” tied to the Pop Secret brand of popcorn. The alliance includes the sale of fresh-popped Pop Secret popcorn at the theme park popcorn carts, advertisements on Disney-owned channels, and even on-pack sweepstakes.
Mickey’s Not-S0-Scary Halloween Party kicked off September 15 and guests have a chance to pick some new party-themed merchandise including apparel and a retail MagicBand!
This holiday season is the last season for The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights and reservations are now open for the Merry & Bright Dessert Party and the Merry & Bright Dinner Reception.
