It’s been another busy week in Disney news with epic movie trailers, popular attractions getting ready to close for refurb, and much more. Let’s jump right in!
Monday Night Football was a bit more exciting than normal last week – the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted at halftime and it was epic. At the same time tickets for the film went on sale online and subsequently broke the Internet.
If you haven’t gotten enough of Frozen yet, now you can fly on WestJet’s all-new Frozen-themed plane. This newly painted jet features Frozen themes inside and out. Apparently we just can’t let it go.
There was a lot of exciting food news last week including the announcement of a new restaurant at Disney Springs from Chef Rick Bayless, a brand-new character meal in Disney’s Hollywood Studios called Minnie’s Seasonal Dine, and a new line of allergy-friendly snacks called Snacks with Character.
Guests headed to Epcot between now and January will want to get that FastPass+ for Soarin’. The popular attraction is set to close on January 4, 2016 for a several months long refurbishment. When it reopens the attraction will be Soarin’ Around the World.
If you’re tired of the same ol’ MagicBand, fret not. Now you can visit the all-new MagicBand On Demand station in the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland. You can customize a retail MagicBand and even find a purple MagicBand!
