Happy Sunday! It’s been another exciting week of Disney news so let’s jump right in!
D23: The Official Disney Fan Club made a lot of news this week with the announcement of ticket sales for the D23 Expo 2017 and the return of a popular event at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival.
Tickets for the D23 Expo 2017 go on sale on July 14! The Expo takes place July 14-16, 2017 at the Anaheim Convention Center and is the largest Disney fan event in the world.
This year, D23 Gold Members can take part in the Sip & Scream event at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. The Sip & Scream event is for D23 Gold Members and their families and includes the chance to attend a morning or afternoon taping of The Chew, a $25 Disney Gift Card, and more.
Fans of the Disney Collection by Vera Bradley can check out two new designs when they debut this summer. One pattern, Mickey’s Magical Blooms, is an update to the Midnight with Mickey pattern that debuted in 2013.
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is hosting two ‘Sandtastic Weekends’ later this summer featuring sand sculptures and more.
And finally, Disney Springs is celebrating its Grand Opening all summer long! During the grand opening guests can enjoy a variety of live entertainment including live bands, a ‘Beat the Heat DJ Party’ every afternoon at the Marketplace Fountain, and more.
