The Walt Disney Studios unveiled a cloud-based digital movie service, Disney Movies Anywhere, giving fans the ability to purchase, manage, and watch movies from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel at home and on the go.
Disney Movies Anywhere is available on the web and as an app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
The debut of the service coincides with the digital release of Disney’s Frozen, and the Disney Movies Anywhere library includes more than 400 active digital titles. For a limited time, users can activate and connect their account with their iTunes account and receive a free digital copy of Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles.

Disney Movies Anywhere users can explore live-action and animated films from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel; watch exclusive content and bonus features; preview upcoming releases; and more.
The service allows customers to stream and download movies to their devices and Apple TV – through iCloud or using AirPlay. And when logged in to the website via a laptop or desktop computer, Disney Movies Anywhere acts as a streaming movie service.
Users can redeem the digital movie codes found in select Disney DVD and Blu-ray products for the digital copies on Disney Movies Anywhere. Previously redeemed titles in Disney Movie Rewards or iTunes will automatically be active in Disney Movies Anywhere and iTunes once a user connects their iTunes account. Consumers can also earn Disney Movie Rewards points for their digital purchases.
The Disney Movies Anywhere App is available for free from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch or at www.appstore.com/disney. Sign up is also available through the Disney Movies Anywhere website.
