Disney has once again been ranked as the number one entertainment company on Fortune’s list of the ‘World’s Most Admired Companies.’
This is the second year in a row that Disney has been named as one of the “most admired” companies in the world.
The company was ranked number five overall and this year marks the fifth consecutive year that Disney has been in the top 10.
The ‘most admired’ list was compiled by Fortune and the global management consulting firm Korn Ferry Hay Group. The corporate reputation of 680 companies in 28 countries and 51 industries were surveyed and nine criteria were voted on.
Criteria included quality of products/services, global competitiveness, social responsibility, and innovation.
Disney was ranked first in eight of the nine “key attributes of reputation.”
