The Marketplace Co-Op at Downtown Disney hasn’t opened yet, but when it does sports fans will want to stop by The Trophy Room.
The Trophy Room will be a unique shopping location for guests because it isn’t just a traditional sports and apparel store.
This boutique will feature wall fixtures that look like re-purposed trophy cases, accented by dark stone and metal fixtures. The walls will also feature Trophy Room logo banners.
John Sarni, a senior merchandiser with Disney said the location “aims to create sports fans, rather than just outfit existing enthusiasts, by offering high quality, vintage-inspired garments that instill a sense of nostalgia and old-school, collegiate spirit”
Some of the apparel in The Trophy Room will be by 47 Brand and will include vintage styles that feature popular baseball teams in addition to college and professional football.
Other merchandise includes collectibles, pennants, and baseballs that feature images of famous stadiums.
The Marketplace Co-Op is scheduled to open early this summer at the Walt Disney World Resort.
