Last week, we told you about the brand new projection show at Magic Kingdom, “The Memories, the Magic, and You.” Yesterday evening, guests of Disneyland Resort got their first glimpse of their very own version of the show.
Whereas the Walt Disney World presentation showcases amazing photography and projection onto Cinderella’s Castle, the backdrop for Disneyland’s show will be the facade of “It’s a Small World.” And that’s where the show takes on a personality that is completely in keeping with the magic and history of Disneyland Resort.
The show will combine guest experiences, captured throughout the day by professional Disney Photopass photographers, with incredible animation and projection, which will literally transform everyone’s favorite landmark right before their eyes. The singing dolls, which bring the message of the beloved ride to life, even appear, as though the walls of their home have dissolved – magically.
The ten-minute shows will take place nightly at Disneyland Park according to the following schedule:
- Monday through Thursday – 7:30 p.m.
- Friday through Sunday – 8 and 9:10 p.m.
Showtimes are, of course, subject to change without notice.
