Summer at the Disney Parks is quickly approaching and guests can look forward to new experiences on both coasts!
At the Walt Disney World Resort, Pandora – The World of Avatar is opening May 27 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and at Disneyland Resort the new Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! also opens on May 27!
Pandora – The World of Avatar will transport guests to the world of Pandora from the film Avatar.
The land will feature floating mountains, bioluminescent plants, and two new attractions: Avatar Flight of Passage and the Na’vi River Journey. Pandora will also be home to two new dining experiences – the Satu’li Canteen and Pongu Pongu.
Other new experiences at Disney World this summer include the new Happily Ever After show at the Magic Kingdom which debuts May 12; The Music of Pixar Live! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios; meet-and-greet with BB-8 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios; and Miss Adventure Falls at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.
At Disneyland, in addition to the grand opening of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT, Disneyland is celebration the Summer of Heroes.
Guests at Disneyland can also enjoy the Main Street Electrical Parade through August 20. Fantasmic! is set to reopen at Disneyland this summer, and new characters will be meeting guests at the parks including Moana, Groot, and more.
