Guests visiting Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort have just a couple months left to enjoy Soarin’, the always-popular attraction located in The Land pavilion.
The attraction will be closed on January 4, 2016 for a months-long refurbishment that will update the ride from Soarin’ to Soarin’ Around the World. Soarin’ originally opened at The Land pavilion in 2005 and is a fan-favorite attraction.
The completely updated attraction will be in 4D and will take guests to locations around the world. Soarin’ Over California at Disney California Adventure will also be refurbished to Soarin’ Around the World.
The updated attraction will be similar to what guests at the soon-to-open Shanghai Disney will see in Soaring Over the Horizon.
A third screen will also reportedly be added to Epcot’s Soarin’ Around the World.
Expect the updated Soarin’ to reopen in the summer of 2016.
