Disney’s newest film, Tomorrowland, hits theaters in May but guests on both coasts will have a chance to see an extended sneak peek of the film starting in April.
The exclusive preview of Tomorrowland will be shown with special in-theater effects at the Imagination Pavilion theater in Epcot and at the Tomorrowland Theater in Disneyland.
At Epcot, this preview means that Captain EO will be closed beginning April 10. The preview of Tomorrowland will start the next week. There’s no official word yet on when Captain EO will return to Epcot.
Tomorrowland stars George Clooney as a jaded scientist who embarks on a mission with an optimistic teen to unearth the secrets of a place in time and space. The screenplay was written by Damon Lindelof (LOST) and Brad Bird (The Incredibles) from a story by Lindelof, Bird, and Jeff Jensen.
The extended previews will begin at Epcot and Disneyland in mid-April. Tomorrowland opens in theaters nationwide on May 22.
