If you have an iPhone, chances are you’re always taking photos and videos. And if you’re like most of us, sometimes those photos and videos stay on the phone for a very long time. But don’t despair; there is a new app that’s going to help everyone share those memories easily.
Disney Interactive’s Story app was launched last week and features a digital storytelling platform that uses the photos and videos on your iPhone to create personalized narratives that you can share with anyone.
The app pulls photos (or videos) from the libraries on your smartphone and then automatically organizes them in stories based on the time and location of the photos. Users can also create their own stories from beginning to end – choosing what photos or videos they want to use and then creating their stories with the app’s editing features. Finished stories can then be shared with family and friends via email or Facebook. Or, stories can be shared on a user’s website or blog.
The free app is available at the App Store for iPhone and iPod.
