Although New Fantasyland in Walt Disney World officially opened to the public late last year, there is still one key part of the expansion that is still on the way. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, the innovative new roller coaster themed to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, reached a major milestone in its construction this week, as the track for the new attraction was officially completed.
Disney laid the last piece of track down for the attraction just a few days ago, signifying that a major part of the ride’s construction is now complete. A roller coaster built for the whole family to enjoy, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will take guests through the mines where the Seven Dwarfs work each day, with music and characters from Disney’s iconic film featured throughout the attraction. The attraction will also feature an innovative new ride vehicle, which will gently swing from side to side as it travels along the track.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is currently scheduled to open in early 2014.
