In an interview with KTLA, Selena Gomez discusses a variety of subjects including the Teen Choice Awards, “Wizards of Waverly Place,” her singing career and “Justin Bieber.”
The actress and singer discusses each of her careers as well as the accolades and fame she has been enjoying recently. She mentions that she gets nervous during events like the awards show, but less so when singing:
I feel safer there. I still get nervous and I feel I’m going to throw up every time I go on stage. But I feel safe because I’m with my fans I know that they’re there just to listen to the music and I’m there to see them and it’s just sort of fun to play and have that connection with your fans.
Discussing her experiences on “Wizards of Waverly Place” she reiterated the feeling which seems to be shared by the cast that the atmosphere is very familial, “There’s a funny vibe. Very easy, relaxed. The cast is great, we just play off each other all day. It’s like my home.”
Regarding Justin Beiber, she says that last year she had visited Knott’s Berry Farm with him last year but would not be doing so again this year. Apparently he was only recognized by one person the prior year, but Selena suspected that a similar visit this year would be bedlam.
