The third season of Disney Junior’s Emmy-winning hit series Jake and the Never Land Pirates debuts this Friday – January 3 – on Disney Channel and Disney Junior.
The new season will feature new characters including pirate ghosts, mummies, and robots, while Jake and his crew will discover special superpowers and new gadgets.
Some of the new gadgets include a Mega-Mecha Sword for Jake, a robot suit, and an invisibility ring that helps the gang outwit their adversaries.
Special guest stars this season include Jack McBrayer as a pirate mummy, Mark Hamill as a pirate named Shiverjack, Carl Reiner as the ghost pirate Captain Treasure Tooth, Rico Rodriguez as Snow-Foot, Estelle Harris as Peg-Leg Peg, and Jo Frost as Nanny Nell.
A new episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates will air each Friday throughout January and February, with a special extended episode on February 28 that pits Jake against Hook in the ultimate showdown.
Jake and the Never Land Pirates premieres January 3 on Disney Channel at 8:30 a.m. and on Disney Junior at 7:50 p.m., and will feature a revamped theme song by Sharky and Bones of The Never Land Pirate Band.
