The new Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen at the Magic Kingdom is testing a same-day reservation option beginning February 12.
Since it opened last December the Skipper Canteen has been a walk-up only table service spot, which is almost unheard of at the Walt Disney World Resort where you basically have to plan everything six months in advance.
This limited-time same-day reservation option will run through February 27 – which means it’s available during some peak times at the Magic Kingdom including President’s Day Weekend, the Princess Half Marathon Weekend, and some winter break times.
To make a same-day reservation for Skipper Canteen guests can visit the restaurant’s page on the Walt Disney World Resort website and available times for the day in question should appear. Guests can also call 407-939-1933 on the day they wish to dine.
