Although we reported that actor Ryan Gosling might be starring in Disney’s big-screen adaptation of The Lone Ranger, a rep for the actor confirmed that Gosling will not be starring in the film.
Many people were under the impression that Gosling would play the title role in the film, opposite Johnny Depp as Tonto, however, those reports are now being called “premature.” You’ll still be able to catch Gosling on the big screen July 29 in his upcoming film Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Disney’s The Lone Ranger is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2014.
