runDisney has announced that all Disneyland races will be put on hiatus beginning in 2018 due to the ongoing construction affiliated with the park’s expansion.
The announcement was made on the runDisney blog: “After careful consideration and weighing all possibilities, we have made the very difficult decision to place all runDisney race weekends at Disneyland Resort on hiatus beginning in 2018. This includes the associated Coast to Coast Race Challenges.”
Any guests who had registered for any of the 2018 races will be contacted via email by runDisney and will receive a full refund for their registration and commemorative items they purchased.
The last Disneyland runDisney event is the Super Heroes Half Marathon on November 9-12.
There is no word on when the Disneyland races might start again.
