runDisney has announced an all-new Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend at the Disneyland Resort January 15-18, 2015.
The races during the weekend including the Star Wars Half Marathon, the Star Wars 10K, and the Star Wars 5K in addition to Kids Races.
The weekend will also feature the Star Wars Rebel Challenge that includes the 10K and the Half Marathon.
The Star Wars Half Marathon features a 13.1 mile “intergalactic adventure” that takes runners through Disney California Adventure, past Disneyland Park, and onto the streets surrounding the Disneyland Resort. The half marathon will be run on Sunday, January 18.
The Star Wars 10K takes place Saturday, January 16 and the Star Wars 5K is Friday, January 15.
Runners participating in the Star Wars Rebel Challenge will run 19.3 miles over the course of two days – running in both the 10K and the half marathon. Finishers will receive the Star Wars Rebel Challenge Finisher Medal in addition to the Half Marathon and 10K finisher medals.
