Last August, we told you that Disney had pulled the plug on their adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book. Originally, Henry Selick was slated to direct the stop-motion film based on the book about Nobody Owens, who is raised by ghosts after his family is murdered.
Now, sources are reporting that Disney plans to bring back their ideas for The Graveyard Book, with Ron Howard at the helm. According to media reports, the studio has re-configured the film to be a live-action adaptation, and are currently in negotiations with Howard to direct.
Gil Netter and Ben Browning will produce.
We’ll let you know more about this exciting development when more news becomes available.
