Runners take your mark! The registration for the 2014 Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon opens Tuesday, March 4.
The Wine and Dine Half Marathon is a nighttime race that takes runners through three Disney Parks – Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. The Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend is November 8-9.
After crossing the finish line runners can take part in the Finish Line Party at Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival. Entrance to the Finish Line Party is included in the registration for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon.
Other events during the 2014 Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend include Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5K at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Kids’ Races on November 8. The Disney Health & Fitness Expo is scheduled for November 7-8 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
This year is the fifth anniversary of the race.
Participants can also attend the Disney Wine & Dine Pre-Race Taste on Friday, November 7 at the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This private party costs $79 per person and includes four tastes from the Food & Wine Festival, one signature sip, a cash bar, and meet-and-greets with Disney characters.
Registration for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon starts at 12 p.m. ET on March 4. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members were able to register beginning February 27.
