For the past year, the Pixar Play Parade has been on hiatus during Disney California Adventure’s expansion efforts. Now, however, the parade will be returning this summer with a few exciting changes.
The parade will still feature classic Pixar characters and worlds from such movies as Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Toy Story and Cars to name a few, but long-time fans of the parade will notice some changes. For example, the Omnidroid float from The Incredibles unit has been reconfigured to feature Violet for the first time. Jack Jack’s positioning has also changed.
Additionally, more people will be able to enjoy the Pixar Play Parade, as it will now occur twice a day along the new park parade route.
To make room for the parade, Pixar Pals! Monster Mayhem and Pixar Pals! The Incredibles: Heroes in Training will close April 29. Guests will be able to enjoy the Pixar Play Parade beginning June 15.
