This year’s Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will feature a brand new booth in addition to more than 25 other booths.
The Patagoina booth will make its festival debut this year featuring flavors from Argentina and Chile. There is no word on whether or not the booths for Argentina and Chile will remain at the festival.
Returning this year is the Brazil booth which, according to the Disney Food Blog, will be serving Moqueca de Pescado, a fresh tilapia dish that features coconut lime sauce and steamed rice.
The Florida Fresh booth will be replaced this year by the Farm Fresh Marketplace where guests can dine on Bacon and Eggs featuring applewood smoked, pepper coated bacon, sweet corn, potatoes, Hollandaise sauce, and pickled jalapenos.
This year’s festival will also feature a dinner that showcases Walt Disney’s favorite foods, a foodie “Boot Camp Series,” and an event called ‘Food for Thought’ which is an eat-and-chat cookbook event with celebrity chefs.
Celebrity chefs for this year’s event include Jamie Deen, “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro, Rock Harper, Jennifer Hill Booker, and more.
The former “Sweet Sundays” will get a new name this year – “Sunday Mornings with…” which is a plated brunch featuring a pastry chef or baker who will craft their three favorite desserts for sampling. The Parisian Breakfast is also returning for this year.
Booking for the Food and Wine Festival special events begins in August.
