The Opening Ceremony for the Invictus Games 2016 is planned for May 8 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The Invictus Games take place May 8-12.
The Opening Ceremony will features performances by Laura Wrigth, James Blunt, and other “surprise guests.”
Military performances include the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets, U.S. Army Band, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, and the U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Team.
The flag that will fly at the Invictus Games Orlando 2016 was presented to the Intrepid Museum in New York City where it will be on display until May.
