Early this morning, under cover of darkness and with no fanfare this time, the Disney Dream arrived in the port of Hamburg, Germany, marking another crucial step in the testing phase, as the ship is prepared for its maiden voyage.
The Dream will spend a few final days in dry dock, where crews will continue with the “test-and-adjust” phase of preparation. Afterward, it will make way for Bremerhaven, where Meyer Werft will officially hand the ship over to Disney on December 9. Once the ship takes on final supplies and crew in Bremerhaven, it will sail for its home port of Canaveral, Florida.
