Get that holiday shopping list prepared because the November merchandise events for the Walt Disney World Resort have been announced.
The month starts with a showcase of ‘Food & Wine’ inspired artwork from artist Rob Kaz’s Disney Fine Art collection. The showcase takes place during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival from November 1 through the 3 from 1 to 10 p.m. each day at the Art of Disney in Epcot.
On November 2 guests can pick up their copy of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival 2013 Cookbook Taste Your Way Around the World. The cookbook is full of recipes for entrees, beverages, desserts, Marketplace favorites and more. Jen Dalhmann, Executive Chef, Epcot, will be on hand for an appearance and book signing on November 2 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Port of Entry in Epcot.
November 7 is your lucky day as Disney Design Group Artist Susan Foy comes to Disney’s Pin Traders to celebrate the release of the newest pin from the Good Luck/Bad Luck series featuring Belle. The event is scheduled from 5-7 p.m.
Vinylmation fans mark your calendars for November 8 when you’ll have a chance to meet Maria Clapsis, Ron Cohee, and Thomas Scott who are the Disney artists behind Vinylmation collections such as the 5th Anniversary Eachez, Festival of the Masters Eachez, and the Disney’s Animal Kingdom set. The trio of artists will be at D-Street in Downtown Disney West Site from 10 a.m. until noon for a special appearance and signing.
The Vinylmation Park Series 13 also debuts November 29 at D-Street.
The Festival of the Masters takes place at Downtown Disney from November 8-10. Guests will find artist signings and performance art taking place throughout the weekend.
Disney inspired artists Greg McCullough and Larry Dotson will be making appearance in November. McCullough will be appearing daily from November 13-16 at the Art of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace and on November 27 through December 1 at the Art of Disney in Epcot. Dotson will be at the Main Street Cinema in the Magic Kingdom from November 18-23.
The holiday collection from Precious Moments doll maker Linda Rick debuts on November 22 at Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney. On November 25, guests in Epcot can visit Heritage Manor at the American Adventure pavilion and find the dolls there. Rick will be making a special appearance at Heritage Manor over Thanksgiving weekend.
Jim Shore will be making a special appearance on November 30 at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney from 1-4 p.m., and on December 1 at Heritage Manor at the American Adventure pavilion from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. He’ll be signing some of his latest releases from the Disney Traditions collection including new holiday pieces for 2013.
At the end of the month jewelry lovers will be dazzled by the fine jewelry collection from the Freeman Family. The trunk show is scheduled for November 29-30 at the World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney.
