Sources have reported that no representative for the estate of the late Steve Jobs will serve on the Walt Disney Company’s board of directors.
Despite the fact that the estate is Disney’s largest shareholder, with 7.7 percent of the company’s common stock, papers filed by Disney last Friday say that no one will be serving on the board on Jobs’ behalf. His widow is not a candidate, nor are any other representatives of the estate. As of this writing, no word has been heard from Disney about this news.
