It’s still July but it’s never to early to start thinking about your New Year’s Eve plans. And this year there are two events planned at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
The first event is a family-friendly party – Pixar Party: A New Year’s Eve Celebration. This party features Sarge from Toy Story and includes a Pixar-themed buffet, a DJ dance party, and the chance to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks at midnight.

The other party is Disney Countdown to Midnight. This event is adult-oriented and includes a “cheftainment” station featuring a seasonal menu inspired by some Disney Signature Dining restaurants.” Guests will also enjoy a photo opp with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, a champagne toast, and the Magic Kingdom fireworks. There’s a VIP enhancement for the Disney Countdown to Midnight called the Ink & Paint Club. The price for this enhancement with the Countdown to Midnight is $450.
At the Ink & Paint Club guests can enjoy “a vintage Disney Animation-inspired room with silver Chiavari chairs, metallic tables and references to classic Disney Animation filling the room.” Food at the club includes: chef stations featuring king crab, tuna tartare, sheep’s milk ricotta gnocchi, cocktails, Champagne, cordial,s and more.
