The second official trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron debuted Monday night during the College Football National Championship game.
And as of press time it has been viewed on YouTube more than 7.2 million times.
In the trailer, Utlron – voiced by James Spader – threatens to tear the Avengers apart from the inside out. Ultron is also pulling the strings in the trailer, leaving the Avengers to fight among themselves.
The film takes place after the original Avengers film and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) has activated an artificial intelligence named Ultron to act as an automated police force. Unfortunately for everyone, Ultron comes to the conclusion that Earth would be better off without humans and proceeds to continually reanimate himself in more powerful suits of armor while trying to bring about an end to humanity.
The Avengers – Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, and Hawkeye – must stop Ultron while they battle each other. Samuel L. Jackson returns at Nick Fury and Paul Bettany (who used to provide the voice for J.A.R.V.I.S.) appears as Vision.
