A new musical stage show based on Disney’s hit film Frozen is coming to the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure on May 27.
The show, Frozen – Live at the Hyperion – tells the story of Anna and Elsa from the film through the use of “elaborate costumes and sets,” special effects, and musical numbers.
The show is directed by Liesl Tommy (Broadway’s Eclipsed), was written by Chad Beguelin (Tony Award nominee for Disney’s Aladdin), and also features puppet design by Michael Curry (Tony Award winner for Disney’s The Lion King).
The opening of Frozen – Live at the Hyperion means that For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration will close at Disney California Adventure on April 17.
