Sources are reporting that Disneyland park are making plans to introduce a new show to Fantasyland, which will be the first time in seven years the themed area will have a theatrical production.
The meet-and-greet Princess Fantasy Faire, which currently resides in the Fantasyland Theater, is set to move out and relocate to a new location sometime next month. The faire will be moved to the area where the Carnation Gardens Plaza used to be, and new buildings are already under construction.
Although the vice president of Disneyland, Jon Storbeck, did say Disney plans to create a “brand new show…[while working on a] concept for the theater,” there have been no details announced about the upcoming Fantasyland show. Disney also declined to comment on an official closing date for The Princess Fantasy Faire.
