Fans of the Dole Whip will love the new t-shirt design, available now at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Disney Design Group Artist Casey Jones says:
I think everyone I know loves a Dole Whip including me. That is probably why I’m excited to see the release of [the Dole Whip] shirt. We used the success of the turkey leg shirt released last year as inspiration for a new collection of retro-style shirts.
In addition to the Dole Whip shirt, Disney has also released a shirt based on another Disney food favorite – churros! Artist Richard Terpstra collaborated with Casey on the designs of both t-shirts. The goal was to come up with designs that had a retro look and feel, and Casey says that “Richard has a great eye for retro design.”
These shirts are already available at the theme parks, so if you’re a fan of the Dole Whip or churros, pick up one of these t-shirts to add to your collection.
