A new pirate-themed exhibit has been announced for the 2017 D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center.
The exhibit, ‘Walt Disney Archives Presents – A Pirate’s Life for me: Disney’s Rascals, Scoundrels, and Really Bad Eggs,’ is a 12,000 square foot exhibit that celebrates some of Disney’s most popular pirates.
The exhibit will feature artwork, attraction vehicles, Audio-Animatronics® figures, and more.
Some of the items in the exhibit include: concept art from Peter Pan, artwork from Treasure Island, Pirates of the Caribbean Audio-Animatronics® figures from the Disneyland attraction, a pirate ship from Peter Pan’s Flight, and more.
All of the Pirates of the Caribbean films will be part of the exhibit with items including original costumes, Davy Jones’ pipe organ, a 23-foot model of the Black Pearl, and other original props and set pieces.
The D23 Expo takes place July 14-16 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
