New Name and Location for Disney Entrepreneur Center

The formerly known Disney E-Center, which houses several small-business service providers, has reverted to its old name and moved from its previous downtown Orlando location to a space in Orlando Fashion Square mall.

Jerry Ross, the center’s executive director, had this to say about the now-named National Entrepreneur Center:

We are attracting national recognition and international attention, so the new name reflects the direction that our center is moving. Our goal is to become a national model for communities to follow when pursuing small business development.

The move was voted on by the board of directors last summer, and the new location boasts lower rent prices, better parking and a greater opportunity to help and reach out to the local business community. While the center is now open for business, a special grand opening celebration will be held May 17.

The center offers small businesses support and services in the form of training, coaching, financing help and seminars, networking events, opportunities for publicity and other resources to help small business owners.
