The 2014 Walt Disney World Marathon takes place this weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort and there is some new merchandise available for participants.
One of the most popular items at runDisney events is apparel and this year’s marathon apparel includes “I Did It” shirts in pink, gray, and black with course maps on the back.
There is also a new “Coast to Coast Challenge” shirt for 2014, in addition to Bondi Bands and Sweaty Bands featuring the marathon’s logo.
Dooney & Bourke fans will be excited to see the handbags that were created especially for the marathon. The purses feature Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy running a magical course through the parks.
Vinylmation collectors can find new “Eachz” figures of Mickey Mouse in running gear. With the Eachz figures, there are two figures in mystery boxes – one is Mickey in yellow and the other features Mickey in green. The yellow Mickey Mouse is the more common figure, while the green is harder to find.
All 2014 Walt Disney World Marathon merchandise is available at Disney’s Health & Fitness Expo at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The times for the Expo are: Wednesday, January 8 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday, January 9 from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., Friday, January 10 from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Saturday, January 11 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
