Peter Pan’s Flight – the very popular and always crowded attraction in the Magic Kingdom – is getting an all-new interactive queue.
The entire standby queue has recently gone through a makeover and now includes artwork featuring the Darling family in addition to a recreation of the family’s home, right down to the children’s nursery.
This new queue will also include some high-tech, interactive features like a 3D Tinker Bell and an interactive shadow wall.
Guests walking through the queue will find their shadows projected on this wall and will have a chance to interact with bells and butterflies that are also projected on the wall. But perhaps the most innovative addition is the 3D Tinker Bell that will fly around the nursery – it even looks like she’s flying over the guests in the queue.
At the end of the standby queue, just before it’s time to board the ride, guests can clap to create a storm of “pixie dust.”
The new interactive standby queue is set to open very soon at Peter Pan’s Flight.
